Manitoban charged after Internet date alleges being kidnapped, robbed and drugged

BRANDON, Man. — A 20-year-old woman has been charged after a man was allegedly kidnapped, drugged and robbed after answering an Internet ad promising companionship.
Police in Brandon, Man., say after the man replied to the ad, he was picked up by two women and taken to an apartment.
It's alleged that as the three approached the building, two men armed with machetes grabbed the man and tied his hands and legs.
The man was allegedly forced to provide his bank card and PIN number, and two people left and made several purchases with the bank car at various businesses.
The man also alleges while he was confined, he was drugged, and then taken to a bank machine and forced to withdraw a large sum of money.
One woman is charged with forcible confinement, robbery with violence and extortion, while police are looking for three other suspects.
