Six Ottawa-area finalists will each perform three arias from operas that include Le Nozze di Figaro, Il barbiere di Siviglia, La Fille du Régiment, Faust, Carmen, Samson et Dalila, Eugene Onegin, and Candide. There are $8,500 in prizes available.
Saskatchewan Roughrider Fans watch the CFL West Division Final

The Saskatchewan Roughriders are hosting the West Final for the first time in 33 years. Devoted fans will gather to show their “Rider Pride” as the green Riders march toward the club’s fourth Grey Cup in 99 years.
Orpheus Musical Society’s Little Women

Where: Centrepoint Theatre
Based on Louisa May Alcott's classic 1869 semi-autobiographical novel, Little Women focuses on the four March sisters and their beloved Marmee at home in Concord, Massachusetts, while the family patriarch is away serving as a Union Army chaplain during the Civil War.

Carleton University’s Sock ‘N’ Buskin Theatre Company opens its 66th season with Tom Stoppards’ Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead. This absurdist tragicomedy follows the characters of Rosencrantz and Guildenstern, courtiers of Prince Hamlet. Tickets are available at the door.
