The Saint Mary's Huskies have been dealt a blow on the eve of their Atlantic University Sport football semifinal against the Mount Allison Mounties.
The Huskies, who host the Mounties on Saturday at 1 p.m., will not have defensive end Rob Jubenville in the lineup due to a neck injury. Jubenville, a six-foot-two, 255-pounder who holds the AUS sack record, will join former most valuable player Jahmeek Taylor on the sidelines.
Taylor, a receiver/returner, had already been ruled out with a leg injury.
Huskies head coach Perry Marchese said Jubenville — a leading candidate for AUS defensive player of the year — has "possible nerve damage." He was officially ruled out on Friday.
