LANGLEY, B.C. — James Malm scored two minutes into overtime as the Vancouver Giants edged the Prince George Cougars 4-3 on Monday in Western Hockey League action.
Jared Dmytriw had two goals and two assists for Vancouver (20-14-5) with Brayden Watts also chipping in.
Dennis Cholowski struck twice and Kody McDonald had the other for the Cougars (14-18-6).
Todd Scott combined with David Tendeck for 16 saves for the win in net. Tavin Grant turned aside 34 shots for Prince George.
The Giants went 1-for-5 on the power play and the Cougars were scoreless on two attempts.

Alec Baer struck twice for Kootenay (18-17-3) with Brett Davis and Cameron Hausinger adding the others. Bailey Brkin made 31 saves.

REGINA — Matt Bradley scored the overtime winner and added two assists to lift the Pats over Prince Albert.
