Saskatchewan Roughriders sign Canadian receiver Devon Bailey to extension

REGINA — The Saskatchewan Roughriders signed Canadian receiver Devon Bailey to a contract extension Thursday.

The six-foot-five, 202-pound Mississauga. Ont., native was scheduled to become a free agent Tuesday.

Bailey, 26, had five catches for 80 yards and two touchdowns in five games last season with the Riders.

Bailey began his CFL career with the Edmonton Eskimos, who selected him in the first round, sixth overall, in the 2014 CFL draft, He appeared in 39 regular-season games, registering 33 catches for 469 yards and two TDs.
