There’s always a good reason to celebrate in Seville.

The exciting mix of tapas and flamenco, bullfighting and religious fervour, stunning monuments and big events, lends a non-stop party atmosphere to the city.

The Moorish influence on the architectural landscape of Andalusia’s capital is always apparent but it has been tempered by major events.

A two-hour visit will give you the full fascinating history of Seville, from the Lower Paleolithic period, through the Roman occupation, to the Middle Ages with the Arab and Mudejar architecture.

It’s best to avoid the extreme Summer heat.

Autumn is pleasant and spring brings the Easter festivities of the Holy Week.
