Just Opened: Yours Truly
This new Ossington restaurant/late night snack bar opened mid-December, and rather quietly so far as we can tell. Serving a daily prix-fixe four-course meat or vegetarian dinner, this latest spot also features a rustic/industrial interior, awesome cocktails, and some late-night gastropub-style snacks. Winterlicious 2012
Ah, Winterlicious. Some of the city’s best restaurants are offering up three- and four-course meals for a fraction of the regular price, and they start taking reservations on the 12th. Soul Clap Benefit
NYC DJ Jonathan Toubin is in critical condition after a runaway taxi crashed into his hotel room in Portland, Ore., and ran him over while he slept in early December. On Saturday, Queen West hot spot Parts & Labour is playing host to Soul Clap, a night of funk, R&B, and soul to help benefit the pioneer DJ. (1566 Queen St. W.)
Next Stage Theatre Festival
The Next Stage Theatre Festival kicked off on Wednesday and runs through to the 15th. This theatre spectacle — known as a stepping stone between fringe and mainstream — features 10 ground-breaking plays and performances across a veritable tapestry of emotion and scene. (344 Bloor St. W.)

Tuesday on the Thompson Rooftop
Boutique hotel the Thompson hosts its first Tuesday event of 2012 on the acclaimed rooftop on the 10th, with a bevy of T.O.’s finest decked out in their glammest coats and sexiest warm-weather accessories. Resident DJ Dirty Dale will be spinning beats all night long for the fur-lined crowd. (550 Wellington St. W.)
