Lady GaGa is in trouble with police over her skimpy outfits, femalefirst.co.uk reports.

The Just Dance singer — who is famous for her outrageous and revealing ensembles — keeps getting stopped by officers who believe her flesh-flashing clothes could offend members of the public.

The blond beauty was recently stopped in Chicago while she was wearing a pair of tiny hotpants, the website says.

The singer explained: “I guess they weren’t really pants at all. But it was really funny because all you saw was this half-naked girl on the street yelling at some cop, ‘It’s fashion! I’m an artist!’ It was fun.”

The pop star — who used to work as a burlesque dancer — likes to show off her body because it makes her feel sexier.

She said: “It’s not that I don’t like pants, I just choose not to wear them some days. I think no-pants is sexy. I love the naked human body. I was working in strip clubs when I was 18.”
