Nicolas Cage has sold one of his homes to help renovate his castle, femalefirst.co.uk reports.

The actor received a reported $8 million US for his six-bedroom property in Bath, England.

He is now putting all the proceeds into nearby Midford Castle, which he bought in 2007 for around $10 million.

The castle has been empty for two years, and Cage is focused on completely renovating the historic property — built in 1775 — in order to make it his main home while in the U.K.

Cage has also put up for sale his homes in the Bahamas, California, Nevada and Rhode Island.
