Mischa Barton is finally telling her own side of the story of how she wound up in a psychiatric ward in July. Barton claims the pain from a botched wisdom teeth removal sent her over the edge. “It was sort of one of those things that was like a perfect storm,” Barton told Barbara Walters on the View.

“I had so much work to do and the surgery had gone so badly for me. And I think that I was just starting to feel completely overwhelmed. It was just too much to have this surgery go so wrong.”
