The Imaginarium Of Doctor Parnassus

Directed by Terry Gilliam, this movie is best known as Heath Ledger’s last film.

The strange tale of an immortal who complicates his life by making deals with the devil is beautiful looking, but it’s more a piece of surrealist art than a traditional movie.

The story is somewhat hard to follow, but the casting of Johnny Depp, Jude Law and Colin Farrell to replace the late Ledger in the imaginarium scenes is inspired.
