Halle Berry stole the spotlight at Tony n’ Tina’s Wedding and the bride likely didn’t mind at all.

The Hollywood megastar was in the audience last Saturday at Vancouver’s longest running interactive comedy after accepting an invitation from the actor who plays the father of the groom.

Berry is in town filming Frankie and Alice, a psychological thriller about a young woman with multiple personality disorder.

Eric Pollins, the Vancouver actor who plays the father of the groom in Tony n’ Tina’s Wedding, also has a minor role in Frankie and Alice. He invited Berry and she accepted.

“It was a rare pleasure to host her, and particularly to be the entertainer's entertainment,” Pollins said. “I will always treasure the memory.”

During the interactive show, Pollins joked with Berry while in-character. She played along and even threw rice at the bride and groom.

”Halle was the most wonderful and gracious guest imaginable. The warmth, humanity, and emotional generosity she shares, both on set and as a "guest" at Tony n' Tina's wedding, are the very same qualities that make her an international star,” Pollins said.
