He’s a married man, but for one afternoon two of Trevor Linden’s many admirers will get the chance to call the former Canuck their own.
Linden will be auctioning himself off for a Valentine’s date at Six Degrees Of Separation, an annual charity gala that raises money for Special Olympics Canada.
The event will be held at the Commodore Ballroom on Saturday night.
Dave Rae, founder of the event, said the fundraiser grows every year.
“It’s all about having a group of amazing people come together in a great atmosphere for a great cause,” he said.
?The live auction lets participants bid on dates with high-profile Vancouver singles, including an RCMP officer, National rugby and ski team members and an NHL goaltender.
There will also be a silent auction that includes a Mini package from Mini Yaletown, a day in the life of a professional golfer and BeautyMark products.
