Transit Police are on the hunt for a teensy Volkswagen Beetle.

The bug, which measures two feet wide and about three feet long, was stolen from a public-art sculpture outside the King Edward Canada Line station.

Overnight on Feb. 28, someone broke open the Plexiglas case and stole the Beetle.

The sculpture, History Of Loss by Indian artist Sudarshan Shetty, is part of the Vancouver Biennale. The sculpture features about 40 of the tiny aluminum Beetles that were each dropped from about 300 feet.
