The Vancouver Canucks may be adding a new Swedish sensation, if media reports are correct.

CBC’s Scott Morrison and TSN’s Darren Dreger say the team is  on the verge of signing highly touted Swedish prospect Fabian Brunnstrom.

The 23-year-old went undrafted and has been a late bloomer, doing well enough in the Swedish Elite League this season to have upwards of 20 NHL teams seeking his signature on a contract.
Scouts says he could be a top-six forward almost right away.

Morrison reports that Canucks GM Dave Nonis did a good job selling the youngster on the team and playing with the Sedin twins.
