Fish and chips is no mere meal. Instead, it’s a deep and highly personal relationship that differs from person to person. The batter, method and size are all carefully considered.

So, if you’re a fan of Reliable Fish & Chips in Leslieville, you’ll love The Big Fish — same owner and much of the same menu.

Added features to this new hot spot include the fantastic Wrap of the Day and the addition of apple in the Creamy Coleslaw.

Burgers, poutine and alcohol are also available.

Today’s Wrap of the Day ($7.95) — halibut  — with its creamy inside,  crisp batter, lettuce, tomato and herbed wrap is exquisitely simple, but unbelievably satisfying.  Flaky, moist Salmon & Chips ($10.95) is a lovely omega-rich choice.

And portions are plentiful. In fact, once you add the Creamy Coleslaw ($3), you’ll be waddling outta here.  But before long, you’ll be thinking about what to order next time.
